Owners Bob and Annette Fitzsimmons

Annette Fitzsimmons

Bob has over 35 years of experience working with children. His experience ranges from being a teacher, a coach, the best Poppy to his 5 adorable granddaughters, and a guidance counselor. He graduated from
Trenton State College (now TCNJ) where he earned a BS in education, then went to Rider University and received a Masters in school counseling. Bob worked as a Family Worker in an Abbott preschool for 2
years. He coached high school football, basketball and golf for 30 years. His favorite part about working with children is, “You never know what to expect, the kids keep me on my toes and keep me laughing every day.”

Annette Fitzsimmons has been working with children for 31 years. Besides teaching 2nd grade, she worked as a Child Care Licensing Inspector for the DYFS, Office of licensing for 20 plus years. She also
graduated from Trenton State College (where she & Fitz met!) with a BS in Elementary Education. She holds 2 teacher certifications – Elementary Education & Nursery School Teacher. Her favorite part about working with children is, “Everything! I love being here with the children every day!”

Mara Lamond has been working in the Preschool world for over 21 years. She worked for DYFS as a Child Care Licensing Inspector for 2 years. Mara was the Director of a Preschool for the last 11 years. She Graduated from The College of New Jersey with a BS in Psychology. She returned to TCNJ and received her Preschool through 3rd grade Teaching Certificate. Her favorite part about working with children is, “Being able to see the world through the eyes of a child, nothing but pure joy and excitement!
There’s nothing better”.

Elizabeth Andres

Elizabeth as over 20 years experience working with children. She currently has a Child Development Associate (CDA), and continues to takes classes. Elizabeth has had many roles over the years while working in Child Care. She has been an Assistant teacher, Lead teacher as well as the appointed on site “Person in charge”. Her favorite thing about working with children is, “Being able to become a part of the child’s extended family and watching them grow and learn each day!”

Patt Stewart

Patt has over 25 years of experience working with Preschool children. She currently holds a Child Develop Associate (CDA). Patt is a wonderful teacher. The children love and respect her as well as the parents and other staff members. We often say that we learn something new from Patt every day. Her favorite part about working with children is that she “enjoys watching the children learn, and the moment when they grasp a concept is truly overwhelming and priceless!”

Kelly Parker

Kelly has over 11 years of experience working with young children. She is a valuable employee. You can always count on Kelly to be there and pitch in whenever and wherever she is needed. Kelly is great a big kid at heart! Her favorite part of the working with children is “all of the love she receives, and all of the love she is able give”.

Kamah Mamu

Kamah has 2 years’ experience working with children. She is currently a student at Berkely College. Kamah is a joy and a pleasure to be around! Her heartwarming smile is enough to turn your mood around every time you see her! Her favorite part about working with the toddlers is “They make me smile and laugh every day, and I can’t wait to see them again the next day”.

Susan Anthony

Susan has over 3 years’ experience working with young children. In her past life Susan was a Realtor. She was looking for a change, and she found one! “Working with children has been great!”. Susan is hardworking, dedicated, and we are lucky she joined our team!

Sarah Pulisciano

Sarah has been working in child care for only a few months. She is a recent graduate of The College of New Jersey. She holds a BA in Psychology, with a Specialization in Developmental Psychology. Sarah
is eager to learn, and always goes above and beyond! “I have learned so much while working with the children”. “They teach me something new every day!”
